Job Description:
You will play a pivotal role in leading our company’s efforts in adopting new technologies and sustainable practices while also handling the traditional tasks of structural engineering. Your role will encompass:
- Traditional Structural Engineering Responsibilities:
- Designing structures using structural engineering software in conjunction with Autodesk software suites
- Communicating with our construction team in the field and through Autodesk construction cloud
- Assisting in project scheduling and management.
- Participating in the permitting process.
Sustainability and Technology Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement strategies for integrating new technologies and sustainable practices into our structural engineering and construction projects.
- Leading research and development initiatives to explore the potential applications of 3D concrete printing in our projects, from design to construction.
- Identifying opportunities to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Building partnerships with industry experts, suppliers, and organizations involved in sustainable construction and 3D concrete printing.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their sustainability goals and incorporate them into our project designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in sustainable design and construction practices.
- Familiarity with 3D concrete printing technology and its applications in construction is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and adapt to new technologies and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
